  1. Kristyna, just nominated your blog for best regional or specialty blog on Saveur magazine’s 2015 food blog awards. The voting for the nominees start March 30 for 1 week. Tell your family and friends to vote for you at that time. Saveur.com is a great website if you want more details or if you want to nominate a blog. Gotta try this dish it looks great.

    1. Oh my goodness, thank you! That was a very unexpected blessing. I appreciate it so much!!!!! When the voting is open I will definitely let people know! 😀

  2. Hi Kristyna! I love your blog! The recipes are just spot on! I love aspik- as a little girl I begged my mom to take me to a local ” bufet” for šunkový závitek:) I will try making it this weekend. And I have to say – your vepřo knedlo zelo recipe is AMAZING! We all appreciate the time and dedication to perfect the recipes- they for sure bring the good old memories:)

    1. Thank you so much Eva for such a wonderful comment! Such comments are worth of all my time spent on these recipes and videos. 🙂

  3. Kristina, I am married to an Austrian and we live in the US and I love making my hubby foods from his home country. I found your videos accidentally yesterday and am buzzing through them! There are so many similarities. I learned to make a few things like the potato goulash from my mother-in-law who still lives in Vienna. I just want to compliment you on your videos and I will be trying several of your recipes for sure. And I love your aprons! 🙂

    1. Thank you for such a sweet comment! 🙂 That is great to know there are many similarities in Austrian cooking. I think since we are neighboring nations we have lots in common. 🙂 I was born and raised in Brno which is very close to Vienna. When I fly back to visit most of the time I fly to Vienna and then drive to Brno. It is a stunning drive. I hope you will enjoy my dishes. 🙂

      1. That is so cool. My husband and his mother took me to Czech to a boarder town one time to shop and dine. It was cheaper at that time (18 years ago). She still lives in Vienna but we have not been in 5 years.
