      1. Is this Czech Cookbook a real cookbook that can be ordered?

        1. Yes. I sell them on Amazon USA and Canada. I am currently out of stock in printing new ones. Should be available in about 1-2 months. https://amzn.to/2W3J5yL

  2. You need to publish the directions along with the ingredients.

  4. You are amazing! I found your YouTube videos and am working through all of the dessert recipes– wonderful! Your instructions are perfect and very concise. I found your cookbook (Kindle version) on Amazon; will there be a paper version? It would be a great Christmas gift for my friends.

    1. Thank you Jacy! I was hoping to ha e the printed book done by Christmas but I won’t be able to. There is so much that goes into publishing a book. But I am hoping to have it available January or February. Bummer the timing just didn’t work out. But I am planing to release soon another Kindle just with Christmas recipes so people can make all the cookies and Christmas bread.

    1. I hope you will figure it out. I am sorry to hear about your issue.

  10. I have my neighbors recipe for this cake & it is nothing like yours. Would be interesting to make each & compare them. Her children said my cake was exactly like she used to make, in the ‘60’s.

    1. Please let me know how you liked it.

  11. How do i get the videos to follow the directions until I can purchase the cookbook?

    De

    1. I don’t understand your question. You just follow the steps in the video. On my website I only have list of ingredients, not directions.

    2. De,

It’s so easy to make and all in one bowl. If you watch her video, you’ll see that you basically dump everything in one bowl, mix it up and pour into a pan. Place fruit on top, bake and you’ll have Bublanina! Easy peasy!

  12. Simple and tasty 🙂 Thank you for the recipe!

  13. Last summer, we visited a little Czech bakery in Penticton Canada, run by an older Czech couple and we ate one of the best breakfasts we’ve had, which included some Bublanina (of course). The woman was kind enough to bring me in the back, show me her recipe and describe in general terms what she did to make it each morning. I brought that knowledge home with me and then promptly forgot all the key points. When I came across this recipe, I was overjoyed. I made it this morning with some rhubarb and blueberries from our garden and it was fantastic. Just like I remembered and ridiculously easy to make. Thank you so much for posting this and I look forward to perusing the site for more lovely recipes.

    1. That is wonderful! I am happy to hear my recipe turned out the way you remembered. 🙂 Yes quite easy and delicious recipe. 🙂

      1. I’ve made this so many times since I posted that comment and it’s been perfect every single time. I’ve used so many different fruits and it doesn’t seem to matter which ones I use, it’s always perfect. I keep referring back to your recipe each time so I wanted to thank you again for posting this.
I just made this again tonight with nectarines from a friends tree, rhubarb and black currents from our garden, and it’s in the oven now! House smells amazing!

        1. I am so happy to hear April! 🙂 Nectarines sound amazing especially freshly picked. 🙂

  15. Love your recipes, my mother came from the Czech Republic. She met my dad there during the war. He brought her back to the USA as a war bride. She is 90 years old now. We live in Papillion Nebraska, we had a restaurant called Bohemian Cafe and they went out of business, everybody sure misses it. One of my favorite meals is sweet and sour cabbage and so easy to make. Hope you put it in your book. Dill gravy is another favorite mom made. Keep up the good work, I sure enjoy your videos. ❤️

    1. Thank you Barb for wonderful message! What a sweet story.<3 I am sorry to hear about your cafe. 🙁 That is sad it couldn't continue.

  16. I was born and raised in the Czech Republic. Often I found myself looking for ingredients that are non-existent in the US. You made my life easier by decoding these complex Czech recipes and translating them into a much simple language. I’m excited about trying to make some Czech food for once. Great job!

    1. Thank you ☺️ ❤️
