People, you HAVE to do Anglické Rohliky!
They are so easy to do, they baked beautifully and they were (and are still) so yummy! I had to freeze some for later or else we would’ve gone through the whole batch in one evening!
They will be done often 😉
Thanks again!
Julie (and Pascal who could not stop raving about these!)
😀 They are very dangerous. Haha. They are still great next day if you put them into toaster oven to make them warm and crispy again. I am glad you guys enjoyed them. 🙂
We live fulltime in our motorhome and are traveling, but as soon as we stay in one place I will make these. Steve is very lucky to have such a talented and beautiful lady. I am only 1/2 Czech but my Mother (she was 100% Czech) always cooked a lot of Czech food, my favorites are roast pork, sauerkraut, bread knedlicky and gravy. We also loved fruit knedlicky with cinnamon, sugar and melted butter, and roast duck. Thank you so much for bringing back so many wonderful memories of Mom. My wife and I have visited the Czech Republic twice and cannot wait to return.
Thank you Roy! Your mom made delicious meals! Glad to hear you enjoyed visiting CZ. I hope you will enjoy these Bacon Rolls. Please let me know. 🙂
Made these today and they turned out so good! My house smelled just like the little bakery by my place in Liberec that sold these. Thank you!
That is wonderful! Yes, I love the smell of these baking. 🙂
Thank you for your time and dedication to cooking.
Velice dobre, Brnacka zijici v CA.
Dekuji a zdravim Brnacku. Ted jsem prave v Brne, ale jinak taky bydlim v CA 🙂
Is bacon common nowadays in the Czech Republic? Do they still make and consume Škvarky or is it too much a health hazard?
Yes bacon is common and enjoyed. 🙂 Same with skvarky. We still make them and eat them. 🙂
Hi! If I do not have instant mashed potatoes, can they be omitted?
You can try to skip them. The texture might be different but should be ok.
